As I got older I began to really understand the phrase my parents would always say: یہ چیزیں مت بھولنا (don't forget these things) as they showed me different recipes, stories, and activities that have been around for generations. They would tell me the history behind them and over time I began to share their appreciation.

Like life is, things have begun to fade. People either passed or moved, not all recipes are made, and new things are beginning to replace the old. But there are places and moments that stay with you long after they're gone.

A nani's garden with jasmine plants, each flower picked and strung together, an afternoon filled with chai and family. Summer evenings spent on a walk past raat ki rani plants, or fresh rose petals being thrown at the bride and groom.

For us, these are the scents of Pakistan.

Our candles are inspired by these moments, the places we've known, the traditions we grew up with, and the memories that continue to shape us. Everything we hold close to our hearts.
